A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit the Chihuly Glass Musuem for an event. Located right next to the Space Needle, it had been on my list of places to visit in town.
The event was fine -- good wine, great friends, but not enough good. The exhibits were definitely the highlight. I'd say the museum is worth the price of admission.
how amazing is that first photo. :)
ReplyDeleteomg! i love these photos! what a fun event to attend to! Everything looks so colorful and unique!
ReplyDeletethere was a chihuly in the city i lived in for many years--similar to the first boat one you posted. i loved seeing pics of your exhibit.
ReplyDeleteWe had the Chihuly exhibit rotate through the Dallas arboretum last fall and it was a little bit unbelievable. I wonder what they did during hail storms though? Cross their fingers?
ReplyDeleteThese are really amazing. I especially love the canoe with the colored stones. I think I need to add the Chihuly Glass Museum to my Bucket List :)
ReplyDeleteI think I posted these EXACT same photos around this time last year! We had our company event there and it was spectacular! So beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteOoooh so pretty!
ReplyDeletethis is on my list for the next time i'm in town. :)
ReplyDelete"good wine, great friends, but not enough good." I don't quite get this hun, would love to be filled in on what wasn't good. Your opinion matters. All of it. I've never even entertained the idea that there would be glass galleries! How cool! LOVE the photos :D
ReplyDeletethis looks really fun! i love learning about something new and have never been to a glass gallery before.
ReplyDeleteWow, looks so interesting!
